AMBER Ready Provides Police with Missing Child’s Information Quicker

May 21, 2009 at 3:06 pm Leave a comment

When a child is abducted, the chances of the child being returned unharmed dramatically drop after the first four hours. Because the window of opportunity is so small in child abduction cases, it is important to get the child’s information to the police as soon as possible. A new mobile phone application aims to do just that.

AMBER Ready is a cell phone application that allows parents to upload child information including pictures to a website and to their cell phones so that that information can be readily sent to police when a child goes missing.

For more details, visit the AMBER Ready website.
