Bad B.O. May Soon Be Against the Law

The Honolulu, Hawaii, city council is considering enacting a bill that would impose fines or jail time on city bus riders who smell. The proposed law would outlaw “odors that unreasonably disturb others or interfere with their use of the transit system.” Those odors could be from clothes, body, animals, backpacks, or anything a passenger decides to bring on the bus.
